The opening ceremony will be followed by the "Funding Opportunities (EDF) and new markets in Africa" conference organized in partnership with the Africa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Africa Research Centre (University of Pécs), the African-Hungarian Union and other bodies. You may find the conference program attached.

Introductory thoughts:

Africa is a continent characterized by economic growth, expanding middle-class and developing infrastructure. It recently became a key target area of the Eastern Opening Policy of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary and a potential market for Hungarian and Central-European companies. The Hungarian government, business and civic organizations and the European Union offers tools, services and useful information to facilitate and support your successful entry to Africa. Beside the conference, you will have opportunity to visit the 4th Globoport Africa Expo and Fair, co-event of Travel Expo, with its 25 exhibitors representing 15 African countries on 600 square meters (www.afrikaexpo.hu).
